What are printspark’s turnaround times?
The time varies depending on the job being printed.
Standard Turnaround times are as follows:
Business Cards 2-3 Business Days
Postcards/Flyers – 2-3 Business Days
Door Hangers – 3-5 Business Days
Brochures – 2-5 Business Days
Sell Sheets – 2-5 Business Days
*Turnaround times are not guaranteed.

Can you split print quantities on an order ?
No we cannot due to the offset printing process.

What is the Tag and why do you charge $25 additional if I opt to not have it?
The Tag-line is a small line ( 5pt size text) that will read Printspark.com 312-944-6463. It’s a way for printspark to Advertise our services to potential clients so we can keep offering the lowest price possible to our constomers.

Can an order be cancelled with a refund?
Canceled orders will not be refunded if the job has been submitted to the presses.

What will show up on my credit card statement if I pay by credit card?
Please note that your credit card statement will show “Mindsink Multimedia Inc.”

What type of credit cards does Print Spark accept?
We accept Master Card, Visa, and Discover

Can I pay by check?
Yes you may but this method greatly increases turn around time as we will not design or print until the check clears.

Printing FAQ

What paper stock do you print on?
Our products such as business cards/postcards/flyers are printed
On a premium 14pt. Cover Card Stock with optional UV coating. Products such as sell-sheets and brochures are printed on 100# Gloss Text Paper Stock with an Aqueous Semi-Gloss coating with optional UV coating. Our letterheads and envelopes are printed on 70# Uncoated paper stock.

Can I request custom (PMS) inks?
Yes you can. An additional cost will be added if your job requires a spot color of your designation.

What is CMYK?
CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and key. CMYK is the standard Color mode used in the print world. All files submitted should be in the the CMYK color more.

What does 4/0, 4/1, 4/4 mean?
4/0 Specifies that the front will be printed with four colors (CMYK) and that there will be no printing on the back side.
4/1 Specifies that the front will be printed with four colors and one color on the back side.
4/4 Specifies that both the front and back will be printed full color.

What does 300 dpi resolution mean?
It represents the number of dots per inch on an image. All files with bitmap graphics ( JPEG’s ) that are going to be Printed must be 300 dpi or higher. Images with a lower resolution may look pixilated and may reproduce poorly.

What file types does Print Spark accept?
* Color Mode CMYK
* Resolution 300 dpi
* Bleed .125 on each side"
* Format JPG

What are the bleed requirements?
All files must include a 1/8" (0.125 inch) bleed regardless if your design bleeds to the edge or not. An example of bleed setup for a 4" x 6" postcard would be 4.25" x 6.25".

Can I include front and back in one file?
Each side of your artwork must be in a separate file. Do not put both front and back in the same file.

IMPORTANT DETAILS CONCERNING COLOR REPRODUCTION
Gang-Run Printing combines your short-run jobs with other similar jobs. This allows the initial production costs to be much cheaper as opposed to printing each job individually. This is the reason Print Spark can offer such affordable prices of offset printed material. All work is carried out by skilled professionals on state-of-the-art equipment to assure you quality work at affordable prices. As a result of Gang-Run printing Print Spark does not accept responsibility for slight color variations that may occur between submitted files and printed files.
